What to Expect:
- Arrive by 10:00 AM (we’ll have a group leader from 9:45 to 10:30 to greet you).
- We’ll start with prayer, divide into teams, and head out to engage with festival attendees.
Meet in front of Jive’s Coffee Lounge

- Just off Colorado Ave between 24th and 25th, Old Colorado City
- Adjacent to Bancroft Park and across W Pikes Peak Ave from the Old Colorado City Library
Parking & Shuttle
- Limited Street Parking—FREE SHUTTLE Recommended
- Park: 130 S Nevada Ave Downtown
- Colorado Springs C.A.B. Garage
- $1/hour (charged by the city)
- Shuttle: Free rides from 130 S Nevada Ave to the event.
- Note: You don’t need to park in the garage to use the shuttle. No dogs allowed.
Tips for a Great Outreach Day
- Arrive Early: Get there by 9:45 AM to meet the group leaders, pray and settle in.
- What to Bring: Wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and a heart ready to share hope!
- Prepare: Get familiar with our outreach literature here

What to expect: No fireworks will be launched from Memorial Park but there will likely be picnickers and tailgaters to view fireworks at other events and skaters enjoying the skate park
- Skate Park Outreach | 6:00 PM to ~8:00 PM: We’ll set up near the Memorial Park Skate Park to hand out outreach literature to skaters
- Fireworks Crowd | ~7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (pre-fireworks): We’ll engage the crowd waiting for fireworks.
- Help us hand out fun stuff! Glowstick Necklaces and Bracelets!
Meeting and Parking
- Meet and park at the Sertich Ice Arena (Farragut Ave.) at 6 PM
- The lot may fill up, so park across Pikes Peak on Meade or Farragut in the neighborhood area.

Alpha Course
The Sanctuary Church is hosting an Alpha Course starting in September,
Alpha courses offer a safe space to explore the Christian faith through shared meals, short talks, and open discussions. Topics like “Who is Jesus?” and “Why pray?” make it ideal for friends met during street outreach, such as at Territory Days or the Labor Day Liftoff, who are curious about Jesus.
Your role is SUPER simple: Invite people that you meet at an outreach, like Territory days, to an Alpha Course. And give them a HDL business card to help them find the class.
Non Alcoholic Pool Hall Ministry
A Vision for Fellowship:
We’re dreaming of a non-alcoholic pool hall for fellowship in downtown Colorado Springs—an “out there” idea that could become a unique space to connect and disciple friends met on the street
I recently met a guy interested in starting this ministry, but it’s in the early stages and he needs prayer and guidance to get this ministry off the ground.
