What to expect: No fireworks will be launched from Memorial Park but there will likely be picnickers and tailgaters to view fireworks at other events and skaters enjoying the skate park

The Colorado Springs flea market is an easy and relaxed environment for sharing the gospel. We use inviting signs and offer free materials like Bibles, New Testaments, ServeNow booklets, and other topic-specific booklets. .

What to Expect: Build Relationships, Share Hope
Your role is simple: Be present to connect with friends who stop by, especially those we’ve met on the street during one-on-one conversations—like at Territory Days. If someone joins you—perhaps drawn by one of our business cards—engage them in conversation and help them discover Jesus. If no one stops by, enjoy fellowship with your volunteer partner until you’re ready to leave. It’s a low-pressure way to disciple others, offering a warm opportunity to encounter Christ’s love over a cup of coffee.
NOTE: As of today, 6/11/25, I’m inviting folks I talk to for coffee and giving them a regular HDL business card.

Alpha Course
The Sanctuary Church is hosting an Alpha Course starting in September,
Alpha courses offer a safe space to explore the Christian faith through shared meals, short talks, and open discussions. Topics like “Who is Jesus?” and “Why pray?” make it ideal for friends met during street outreach, such as at Territory Days or the Labor Day Liftoff, who are curious about Jesus.
Your role is SUPER simple: Invite people that you meet at an outreach, like Territory days, to an Alpha Course. And give them a HDL business card to help them find the class.
Non Alcoholic Pool Hall Ministry
A Vision for Fellowship:
We’re dreaming of a non-alcoholic pool hall for fellowship in downtown Colorado Springs—an “out there” idea that could become a unique space to connect and disciple friends met on the street
I recently met a guy interested in starting this ministry, but it’s in the early stages and he needs prayer and guidance to get this ministry off the ground.
